The Patio R.V. Park is just off Hwy 126 on the road that parallels the river near Harbick's Store. This is about one hour east of
Eugene (45 minutes east of Springfield), just before the highway starts to loop up into the Cascades. It is also about 5 miles west of the Old McKenzie Hwy that is open only during the summer, and is about 2 miles west of the little town of McKenzie Bridge.
Cougar Hot Springs (Terwilliger) is close by. From Bend just hop on Hwy
20. You will find Patio just about a half hour on the west side of the
Santiam Summit, where Hoodoo Ski Area is located. Patio is at the base of
the Cascade Recreation area where you can find great golfing, hiking,
wilderness areas, skiing, tubing, biking, sightseeing, birdwatching, raft
trips, and a lot more. Most of this is within minutes, but all is within a
half hour drive. |
