Cougar Hot Springs (aka. Terwilliger) with its five cascading pools is only about 15 minutes away. Clothes are optional here, so be ready for a natural experience. Great golfing at Tokatee Golf Course is only a mile away. (Clothes are mandatory here) Often we have golf packages available.

During the summer travel up the old McKenzie Hwy for a great view and rock hunting in the lava fields. Of course, since we are right on the McKenzie River, you will want to think about river rafting or fishing. There are many enjoyable restaurants nearby along with Harbick's General Store. Winter time guests should take advantage of weekend ski packages at Hoodoo.

If you are interested in an occasional more rustic camp experience check out the nearby USFS campgrounds that are also managed by Hoodoo. See the www.hoodoo.com webpage for about a hundred more pages on available campgrounds including Hoodoo itself where groups of up to 400 RVs could gather.

Waterfalls abound in this area of many rivers and mountain lakes as do many other natural and man made wonders.

Tokatee Golf course would be worth the trip just for the surrounding view. Here you see some of the small hills with the giant Sisters Mountains nestled in the clouds. Patio RV Park is located at the base of these hills about a mile away. While it is good to have reservations during the summer, this picture was taken during a PGA sanctioned event that makes it look more crowded than usual. Ask at our front desk about the golf specials that we have (Dates that the Golf Package are available March 4, 2010 - May 9, 2010 & Sept. 13, 2010 - Nov. 14, 2010).
